All of the SmartNA Modular TAPs are fully configurable, allowing them to work in any datacenter configuration. Each module can be set up as a breakout TAP, an aggregating TAP, a SPAN Aggregator, a SPAN Regenerator or a combination of these.

Network Critical’s Fail-Safe technology ensures the TAPs will not introduce a point of failure into your network. Even if power is lost to the TAP, the network link will remain open, allowing your network to continue to flow.

SmartNA Modular TAPs are hot-swappable, allowing them to be used interchangeably with any of the SmartNA Chassis. This introduces a degree of flexibility into your network access solution which is not available with other products. Once you have installed the Smart Network Access System into your infrastructure, changes can be made easily, economically and without interrupting your network traffic.
